Who we are and what we do: short brief

3R-BioPhosphate Ltd. (established in 1989) is a technology-intensive company with an international leadership role in the research, development, engineering, and full-scale industrialization of zero-emission, energy-independent pyrolysis technology and its associated bio-based products.

The company's core specialization lies in the recovery of ABC (Animal Bone Char) BioPhosphate and the production of high-quality biochar. Originally formed as a joint venture with ALSTOM's Lang Machine Works (founded in 1870), 3R-BioPhosphate became an independent organization in 2001.

3R has served as a coordinator and key technology provider in numerous international R&D programs (EU FP5, FP6, FP7, CIP-EcoInnovation, and H2020), focusing on carbon refinery and phosphorus recovery.

The company's core competence is in ecological upcycling and value-added reuse of unexploited biomass through its proprietary 3R Zero Emission pyrolysis and biotech technologies. 3R is the only vendor in the EU fully specialized in the production of high-nutrient-dense ABC-BioPhosphate from food-grade animal bones, covering the entire value chain—from scientific development and technology implementation to industrialization and global commercialization.
